I FINALLY did it!

I am three days short of my 2 month surgiversary and I FINALLY 1. Took ALL my vitamins, 2. Drank at least 60 ozs of water (80 actually), and now for the big one... 3. Ate 63g of protein.  I have finally cracked the protein for me.  I really like the Syntrax nectars.  I can drink them down without gagging, without fuss, and they help me get my water in!!  Now, I have to work on being able to do this during the week.  Right now, I get distracted with work and forget to eat or drink.  It's a problem.  However, I'm going to enjoy my little success here today.  It feels like I've climbed, maybe not Everest, but a really tall mountain.  I'll claim Everest once I can do it during the week and exercise!

Congrats. It does take time to get it all in and having succeeded I am sure you will be able to get into a routine.

Keep up the great job

Congrats! It definitely is a process to figure out how to make all this week - so great job!

You might already be doing this, but I found setting alarms on my phone earlier out to help remind me exactly when to eat was a good idea. I also load up my liquids in the morning for the entire day at work - I told THREE big bottles with me - a protein coffee which I drink first thing, then a plain water and a flavorer water - one for the morning, one for the afternoon. I have them with me basically at all times. If I get through those, my fluids will be great for the day!

Keep it up!

Thanks everyone!  I've done it again today and even earlier!  I konw it's a small accomplishment that many master much earlier than I have but I had myself in such a state over protein right after surgery and drinking water was painful for about a month so I just did what I could and took the pressure off.  I knew eventually I'd get there.  The Nectar has helped immensely!!!  Thanks Anny for the great suggestion about having all my liquids with me as I leave for work in the morning.  I do take my lunch so this wouldn't be too difficult to add.
