You can't control how people perceive you.  Everyone lives in their own reality.

You can control your words, deeds, and actions.  People will perceive you based on those things.  I remember that a person will forget what you said to them, but they will never forget how you made them feel.  I want to be remembered by the people that I helped to feel happy.
