6 months

Six months ago I had my surgery.  Time has flown by and so much has happened.  I went back to work after 3 weeks to find out my job had been eliminated.  I was totally shocked.  I collected unemployment through most of the summer.  Loved being off work and able to walk every day.  Found a better job with more pay and lot less stress.  Started 5 weeks ago.  Went for my 6 month check up yesterday.  I am down 64 lbs since surgery and 102 since I started this journey in December of 2012,  I am now in the normal BMI range!! I can not remember ever being this weight before.  I started in a size 2X-3X, 22W to I can now fit in some size 8-10 pants!! Never in a million years would I think I could be at this weight.  Sorry to ramble on, just wanted to share my story.

Wow, way to go!!  Glad you shared.  I am still pre-op and am so excited to be able to tell a story equally as amazing.

I understand exactly what you are saying. My first 6 months have flown by too. I keep looking in the mirror and wandering how much longer this "miracle" can work. I still have 60-70 pounds to go before I reach a healthy BMI. As long as I stick with the plan, I still loose weight. I'm glad for the additional time to get good habits ingrained in my normal eating habits.

I understand too 5 months for me ive lost 57 pounds cant wait to lose more congratzs keep it up.
