One Year Out

69 year old male here. Got my one year followup. To Recap:

* My labs are excellent

* lost 107 lbs

* no more sleep apnea or diabetes. Most meds reduced.

* I take Xarelto thinner for afib and aspirin for heart stents. I had some burning twice so I am on Carafate and Protonix for life according to the Dr. a bleeding ulcer would be real bad news.

* Dr said no more weight loss concentrate on vitamins, minerals, water 80 ozs, follow the diet in the book to include the prescribed portions.

What do you think?   

Happy Surgerversary.  If this is the case...I think you need to know in detail your lab numbers if you were only told, "labs are excellent."  I think your doctor's advice would be a dream come true to hear, "no more weight loss."  I think you'll see yourself through your 70's and beyond thanks to WLS.  

Hi, yes I have the labs. I have already shared them with my cardio Dr and next week with my PCP.

I wish I would have done WLS sooner...
