Is this a Hernia?

I am eight weeks out from RNY and today I noticed a lump just below and dead center of my sternum.  two weeks ago I returned to the gym and accidentally lifted too much on a circuit machine.  I was a little tender in that spot for about two days and then no side effects.  NOW, there is a lump.  Should I be concerned?  Everything else is going really well. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would be concerned if i had a lump somewhere it wasn't supposed to be.

I have a big knot in the exact same place. Last time I lost weight I noticed it and went to my doctor. It's my breast bone!  I hadn't seen it in so long I didn't know what it was. In fairness to myself, the dr wasn't sure at first because it's an ugly breast bone!

The way I knew I had a hernia is that I could pu**** back in and also when I coughed or strained it popped out more.

Go to the doctor.I just had a two hernias repaired and I knew about the one. I had surgery and the one was wrapped around my bowels. So I say don't mess with any kind of lump.The pain before surgery that sent me to the ER was worse then labor pains.

I presently have two hernias that will need repaired.  My surgeon is having me come once a month until I get surgery as they are getting larger.  I can feel mine with my hand.
