whatever normal means

Today when I got in the scale I am now in the normal bmi range. A little over 14 months from surgery and still losing and would like to lose about five to ten buffer pounds. But after being so overweight for so long 53% bmi it's great to just be considered in the normal range. Then it's on to maintaining it. May need some of you vets to give advice on that.

As long as you keep to low carb, and high protein, you should continue losing.  Maintenance is doing the same things as losing.  Your body stops when it is ready.  You don't change your eating plan to stop losing or to maintain.  This is for life.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

Im about five pounds out from "normal" and can't wait for that classification. It will change nothing but will give me that satisfaction of being in a group I haven't been in for 50 years.

Youve done very well so far...you should be fine with maintainence.
