Are little hairs a good sign?

I've been losing hair like a champ, as expected, since the 2 month mark.  I notice some little baby hairs sticking up from my scalp and along my temple.  Is this a good sign that I might be starting to regrow?  I'm still losing a ton every day, but as long as I'm growing some, I won't be as upset about it.  Also, I really don't care much about my hair getting thin temporarily.  I said this once before in a post, my only fear is losing all my hair, which happened to my mother after she had lap band surgery 10 years ago.  It sparked alopecia in her.  My brother also has it (they are both completely bald), so I worry that I might have a predisposition.  

Yes! Your hair is coming back! But it's early so don't get too excited. You may still lose more up to 9 - 12 months for most.

great thanks!  I just need assurance I'm not going bald LOL.  I'm assuming my mom never had that regrowth...I could ask her but it's a little sensitive and I feel badly asking.  

That is regrowth. I had some serious fuzz going on for awhile, but once it got longer it didn't stick out. I wasn't digging the baby chick look

Yup its a good sign on your head, on your chin, well that might not be as thrilling.  lol  The little baby hairs are wild too, I have been through a few surgeries and lose hair every time, it really gets scary but mine has grown back each time.

Thanks! No chin hair yet...I do wonder why the hair on the rest of our body doesn't she'd like our head hair. 

Don't wish for that for sure it will be something awful like your eyelashes.  Our bodies hate us, or at least mine hates me I am convinced of it.  Why must hair grow where it does not belong I really don't get.  The older I get the less hair I have and the others are white.  omg!! I shave every inch of it off.
