What's on your menu today, RNYers?
Good morning OH world! What a weekend! I hope everyone had a good one, I sure did, filled with lots of NSVs!
My event on Saturday night went really well - so many comments on my new appearance. As you all know, the attention can be both great and overwhelming at times. I had such a fun time getting ready this year though - I'm a little nail polish obsessed so I got fancy Essie nail appliqués, new eye make up for a smokey eye, and my dress made me feel down right hot!
But not only did the event go well - I also tried Spinning for the first time! What a workout - holy crap! I don't think I've ever sweated so much, but it felt good. I felt strong and healthy and like I was really working. I definitely plan to go back. Yesterday I met a girl friend at a local wildlife refuge and we took a lovely walk on the trails. It was nice to catch up with her and do so over a walk and cup of coffee instead of food and booze (she's 5 years post-op, so she gets it).
I'm trying a little experiment today. It seems as though on days I'm eating 1200 calories the next day I lose, but even at 1100 I'm not. So today I'm up at 1200 to see what the scale brings me tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Good Morning. Anny, you look stunning! The dress looks gorgeous on you and you should feel hot in it because you look hot.
I had a great weekend. We didn't do a whole lot but my eating and exercise was all good so that makes me feel great. I ran 4 miles for the first time on Saturday. I had always been running about 3 1/2 and afraid to pu**** up for some reason. I didn't even notice the difference and my time is getting faster every day.
Ran 3 miles this morning.

L: pepper crisps with turkey and laughing cow
D: oven baked chicken breast and roasted sweet potatoes both are from Schwann's live smart collection.

I would love to up my calories to 1,100 but am so afraid that I will gain. I seem to gain so easily.
Have a great day!
Anny, hot mama! You look fabulous! I LOVE the dress :)
We were away all weekend with a house with 30 people, it was a big mansion in VT, absolutely beautiful. The girls went for a 2+ mile walk on Saturday, and the house is straight up a hill that kicked my butt so hard. I was panting going up it and my bum still hurts! But it is good, and I am glad I got some exercise in because the food was challenging this weekend. Lots of snacking....
I am at the same weight as of this morning. We are done with vacations til New Years, so I am back in gear. 45 minutes on the ellitpical tonight and the trainer first thing tomorrow AM. I am officially down 80 lbs, my goal is 100 by my 30th birthday, which is January 10th. I WILL DO IT :)

Anny, you look so great! I think sometimes I like the 'getting ready' part of a fancy evening more than the actual event. ha-ha My weekend was nice; the weather was super crappy but I got my baking done (mostly), spent some time on the couch and for a brief shining moment, all of the laundry was done.

L: Healthy Choice Slow Roasted Turkey Bake
D: Barbacoa beef with queso fresco and pickled onions

Good morning, OH friends! Anny, I love love love the make-up and dress! Hell yes you got comments! You look amazing.
I also had an incredible NSV this weekend. My size 14 pants have been baggy but I tried some on for this big business meeting tomorrow (I work from home so don't normally need to dress up) and they were Bozo the Clown big! So I went to Nordstrom Rack on Saturday after doing a circuit training class, and I gathered up literally 8 pairs of size 12 pants to try. Ummmm...apparently I skipped 12 and I am a 10! It seems like a fluke! But I bought a pair of leggings, a size 10 pair of jeans (loving the brand Not Your Daughter's Jeans) and a size 10 pair of Calvin Klein work pants. Plus about 8 other items, but I am planning to return some because hindsight is 20/20 and I don't need them all!
So when I started this "journey" at 369 lbs, I randomly and arbitrarily set a goal of 170, but wasn't even sure it was attainable. Then as I flew through the 200s, I thought well maybe 160 is possible? Today I hit 170!!!!!! Shocking and exciting.
Time Since Surgery: 10 months, 1 week
B: Chike, two coffees with sugar-free mint creamer
L: Leftover turkey chili
S: Light and Fit yogurt
D: Crabs! And maybe a few fries
E: Doing cardio at the gym at lunch
Totals are only 900 calories, 88 g protein, 56 g carbs. I will definitely be adding in some more food - I can't live on such low calories these days :) I will be closer to 1,200.
Have a great day, everyone! EM
