Just wondering if anyone has used Herbalife after RNY?  Or has reasons why they would not?

My sister used to be a rep for them.  I checked there protein powders and they were to high in sugar and carbs.

This was my initial reaction too and not enough protein. I have a friend that sells them and she was able to talk me into trying a sample that she is dropping off this weekend. She said that she has a few clients that use them post op. I think there are much better choices out there but I was just curious what other had to say.

They don't have very much protien compared to other supplements.

you will not be able to meet your nutritional needs and the results can be life threatening, literally.

You have a zillion choices just have to find one that you like. Tastebuds change after surgery.

No, don't trust it, don't need the added expense, and happy with using bariatric-formulated products made just for people like us.

Lots of controversy and not enough protein.  I would stay away from all the MLM products.

Why spend the money for that when it is too high in sugar and too low in protein?

It's a good product for others but I think after rny probably not your best option. I have a friend that is like 6 years out and she did it for awhile to help her get back on track but I don't believe she still is. I would say in our situation to go with something more specialized for us.
