Normal weight loss range
Hello everyone! I had surgery on 10/14 and as of today have lost 31 pounds! I acutally lost 15 before surgery, so basically have only lost 16 after surgery. I'm thankful for the weight loss but at the same time I have noticed my jeans feel as if they are tighter! What is the normal weight loss range for this stage? Should I be losing more? I'm doing about 30 minutes of walking a day, but that is all I can really handle at this point. I just started on stage 3 of my diet yesterday, eating egg, tuna, chicken, steamed veggies, beans, fruit. If anyone can give me any tips or maybe assure me that this is the normal weight loss, please do.
Everyone is different. But before surgery could you have lost 16 pounds in two weeks? Relax and follow the rules (water, protein, vitamins, exercise), and you will do fine. You already are.
FYI, I wasn't eating fruit at 2 weeks... took me nearly 6 months to add that kind of carb load. But of course that is ultimately up to you and you surgeon.
