And I'm reminded I hate jell-o. It's not the taste, it's the texture. It's all...Jell-oie.
Any tips on how to get through this week?
I have myself surrounded by light juices, sugar free kool-aid, and herbal tea right now. Plus some frozen sugar free icees for later.
Yeah, wonton broth saved me. I don't like jello or popsicles, so it was a rough road. Thank goodness my doc only wanted three days of clears pre-op.
I'm on day 4 of liquids, and holding up pretty well. You might think about making your own chicken/beef/seafood/vegetable stocks. They have so much more flavor than anything you can buy in the store. Plus you know what's in it. I've stocked my freezer with chicken, lobster and Vietnamese Chicken stock, and I will be making beef stock this week. Added bonus is that it makes the house smell fantastic on a cool autumn day.
