19 months out of surgery! Feeling wonderful!
Just wanted to say how wonderful I feel 19 months out of surgery! 19 months ago I weighed in at 282 pounds. Had no energy. Had breathing problems. Was depressed. Had no motivation. Just very fat and unhappy. 19 months later I am 125 pounds and I feel wonderful! No more breathing problems. Have plenty of energy. Have alot of motivation. I exercise daily. No more depressed feelings. I actually love getting up and going out and doing things. In the beginning of this I had regrets about the surgery like wtf did I do too myself. I was very sickly. Couldn't really eat anything without throwing up. I've had a lot of stomach problems that required hospital stays. Had back to back kidney stones. Had a twisted intestine. Had 2 hernias that required surgery. Had to have my gallbladder removed. I suffered from nausea badly. But now that all had subsided I feel great! I still suffer from bad nausea that requires reglan and pepcid everyday. I have a hard time with meats and eggs but it's a work in progress.
I just wanted to share my story with everyone. If you feel like you made a mistake please don't believe that. It will get better. Maybe not right now. But in due time it'll all be okay. I can promise you. Just take 1 day at a time. Always focus on getting your protein and liquid intake, always take your vitamins. If you feel sickly take a break. Rest, drink a protein shake, don't worry about food for that day, go on a liquid/soft food diet and if you feel better slowly go back to your normal diet. That's just a few tips I've leaned over the last 19 months!
Great advice! Thank you for the inspiration :)
