let me introduce myself (hopefully I posted this right)
Hello,
My name is Hope. I live in Iowa with my husband, 2 kids(boy 7&girl 6), and my dog. I am currently 326lbs, down from 349 when I started this journey in March. I started my 6 months of supervised diet and exercise in March of this year. I was working out and doing ok but hurt my back at work. So I was put in Physical Therapy and not able to do my normal work out routine. They said to walk. So I walk around a few blocks in the evening and try to stay as active as I can. I broke my ankle in a car accident and had surgery on it so extended walking really hurts. I started doing sittercise with my participants at work. I work in an adult day center. I know sittercise sounds sad but I can't believe the sweat we can get worked up.
I got a call this last week that my insurance approved me. I am very excited and somewhat nervous. I have met my deductible for this year so they are trying to get me worked in before the end of the year. So as of right now I am on a waiting list for Dec 8 or 9th. If those dates don't work I am set for the 22nd. I am hoping the 8th or 9th works so I can get back to work to help cover holiday vacations.
Well that is a bit about me. I figured I would stop stalking and sitting in the background and introduce myself. I hope to learn more about everyone elses experience and maybe make a few friends along the way.
