More scalar and Non-Scalar Victories
Where to start, where where to start? In October, I went to Century 21 (an discount store here in New York City), and I tried on several pair of pants. One, size 42, the other a size 38. Both of them fit well! This month I went to Macy's to try a size 36 pair of pants. Surprise, surprise. They fit as well.
This past Wednesday, I went to the monthly Weight Loss Surgery support group, and weighed myself. The numbers flashed "209.7", in Lutheran Hospital's language, that means make the number an integer and subtract 3 pounds for clothing. That makes me now weigh 206 pounds. A loss of 164 pounds since surgery, and a grand total of 234 pounds from my largest weight! Just wanted to share with you folks...
Thank You,
Don

HI Don!
Congrats!
And dont forget! YOU CAN RUN NOW TOO! You can run distances that most people get in the car and drive for!
I am so proud of you! You are such an awesome inspiration and a motivator.
I am about to do my second 5K (a turkey trot). I am a bit worried that I will not be able to break out of 35 minutes. I am been stuck at 35-something to 36 something all month.
See you later
