Anyone had a revision from failed sleeve to bypass

has anyone had a failed sleeve to bypass revision?

im scheduled to have a revision on Friday and would appreciate any guidance

I just revised from sleeve to rny. I wouldn't say my sleeve failed.  I do have dilated areas and my surgeon always uses a larger bougie (measurment) to be on the conservative side. It didn't take long before the restriction wasn't at all like the beginning although I have some still. And after the endoscopy my doctor said there wasn't much stretching at all. So he wanted me to revise to the RNY in hopes that the malabsorption in the beginning along with more restriction will help me get to Goal this time. So I think it was definitely 50-50 for me. The sleeve didn't do the job that does for other people but I admit that I ate more as My restriction became less and less.  I feel a lot better about it this time. Hopefully this is the right thing for me and I definitely learned a lot last time. Good luck to you and keep in touch. Message me anytime if you want
