Does anyone else suffer from Hypoglycemia from surgery?

Lately I have been getting these low blood sugar drops where I feel shaky and jumpy, extremely hungry, heart races and everything seems blurry and a bit confused/distracted. I also get very cold to the touch. After I eat a few pieces of bread or crackers I am okay.   I had to go to the hospital where they said my blood sugar should be at 70+ but it dropped to sixty something. They diagnosed me with non-diabetic hypoglycemia.  Anyone else suffer from this? Please tell me I am not alone.

It's more liely Rwactive Hypoglycemia, which needs to be treated differently from hypoglycemia. There is a lot of information out there, and it happens often enough to someone at your stage.

Do not use sugar or simple carbs to raise your BS after an episode, because it will just simply trigger the next episode. Reactive Hypoglycemia is pretty easily controlled by diet.

Reactive Hypoglycemia is very common after RNY.  If you eat bread and crackers without adding a protein to it ( like peanut butter, almonds, or cheese) you risk triggering another blood sugar drop.  You can control it by eating small, protein forward meals every three or four hours.  You may also need to eat something right before bed to prevent a blood sugar drop in the night.  I usually eat a piece of string cheese before going to bed.
