My Bariatric Surgeon is retiring,  will another Bariatric Surgeon take me on as a patient do you think?

Probably.  Your current surgeon may already have contacted someone else locally to refer people to (that is what mine did).

If you just want someone to follow your labs, though, you don't really need a surgeon.  Your PCP can do that.  (Mine does, and has for several years.)

Yeah, if you need to be treated by a surgeon.  Many people just see their PCP for labs and routine stuff after the first year or so.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.
