So today is day 2 of my clear liquid diet, and I'm so thankful that I only had to do 2 days.... tomorrow's my surgery. My question is, is it normal to have a headache? I'm wondering if it's my blood sugar ?? IDK maybe I'm just stressing??? I'm a little shakey too. I've only had like chicken broth and Crystal Light.

Perfectly normal. Probably caffeine withdrawals or sugar withdrawals.

VSG on 03/13/14

Totally normal. Your body is withdrawing from carbs. It'll get better normally around the 3rd or 4th day - at which point you'll be recovering from surgery!

Completely normal. It's the reduction of calories/carb intake. You're very fortunate that you only had two days of pre op diet hell. Good luck tomorrow with your surgery and get ready for the loser's bench
