Bit concerned of being on my feet for 9 hours a day, but definitely looking forward to resuming life. I am stoked that all will go well. Wishing you all good health and happiness!

Congrats and welcome to the club!  Hope things go well for you!  Actually, my job is a desk job and sitting was harder than standing when I first went back because of the incision locations - maybe standing won't be too bad for you!

UGH ! I have to go back after 10 days and I doubt I'll be ready. I am the dietary supervisor and head cook at an assisted living facility. Will suck to be around all the food I can't have LOL  I got this though. I just don't know if 10 days is enough time. We shall see.

Hope your day is going well! After my first day back to work, I came home and was asleep by 6:30 pm - slept all night till morning.  LOL.  But it was so good to get back into a routine.

I am finishing up now! It went pretty good actually. Being around the food was pretty easy. As it turns out I was only able to take a couple of short breaks (really busy with Christmas in a couple days). Energy level was down especially later in the day, but definitely do-able. I did ask for help with heavy things but otherwise good to be back.

Good to hear that you are doing well.  Carefully with the lifting. I started weight training (with surgeons approval) last week and pulled a muscle next to the big incision.  It hurst a lot, but nothing major or lasting. Best of luck.

ps. Remember our Sunday weigh ins in the men's section.
