3.5 years post-op and sick of it!

I hate eating food that is supposed to be hot after it gets cold. How do you deal with it? I hate having to reheat my food 3-4 times just to get through a meal!

use a crockpot, take a bite or 2 out at a time, add more as needed, stays hot. :)

You should be able to get through a meal in 15-20 minutes maximum - how long are you eating for?

20-30 minutes depending on how many times I reheat something.

I'm 3 years out and eat pretty normally, just smaller amounts. What is it that is making it take so long for you?

It has always taken me around 20 minutes to eat since I had surgery. Sometimes it takes a little longer because my food gets cold and I have to reheat it.

Your food doesn't stay warm for 20  minutes?

Get one of those candle warmers and put your plate on top of that.  I hear it works wonders.

I don't have that problem.  How long is it taking you to eat a meal?  How much are you eating?
