NSV that I thought would never happen!

Yesterday I went shopping and was able to cross off one of my original goals- I bought a pair of black knee high riding boots and they fit over my jeans!! Granted they are still "wide calf" but I don't care! I also bought a pair of size 12 jeans at J Jill and a size 1.5 pair of tael velveteen pants at Chicos! My surgery date was 4/28/14 and I've gone from 294 to 186 and I feel AWESOME!!!

Good for you !! It feels fantastic doesn't it? On those occasions when you're tempted to grab a cookie or something on the no-no list, remember how it felt to put those boots on and use that for your motivation. There's more "firsts" and "WOW" moments ahead.

Outstanding!! 

I'm STILL waiting for that particular NSV to happen. My problem is that being short, all the wide calf boots ( that would fit my upper calves just fine ) I've tried on hit me in a weird place on my lower calves...and they're just too tight to be comfy. I think I still have cankles...lol.

What a great NSV! I went from having no boots to having two pair of black and three pairs of brown ones. I love boots too! Congratulations!

That is great! I am five months out and am surprised at things I can wear and things I can do. I think something won't work and it does... great feeling.
