Rogaine????

Has anyone tried Rogaine for women?  any suggestions for thinning hair?  I haven't even had WLS yet...my hairs been thinning in the front for the past 2 yrs  :(

The thing is once you start you can never stop, I would try it though see if it helps and if it does keep it up after surgery.  I was thinking about this one day after seeing their ad on tv, that I never saw anyone ask this question before.  Good luck.

I was just on their website yesterday. I think it says it doesn't work for baldness/thinning in the front. I would talk to my pcp or endocrinologist before I tried otc treatments. Could be thyroid or other. My hair is falling out terribly right now. It's making me very nervous!

What medications are you taking? Check the side effects to see if hair loss is one of the symptoms.... I was taking actigal after surgery to prevent gal stones due to rapid weight loss.... hair lose was one of the symptoms. ... I stopped taking the meds although I might need gal bladder surgery now. ..
