The Wait!
I completed all of the requirements (6 months) last Thursday. They submitted Friday, Monday it was processed, and now it is pending.
When I had my last appointment with my surgeon the nurse said that Jan. was a slow month and we might hear something back within a week. I called back and spoke to the insurance lady last week and she said 2-3 weeks. Today I called BCBS and the lady stated up to 30-45 days.
How long did it take for you insurance to approve/deny?
Praying for approval!!!
I also have BCBS, and I was told the 30-45 day wait, but I got a call from my doctor's office about a week later. This was back in September, when they're busier than now. I bet you'll hear back in no time.

150 lost and maintaining!
I have Highmark BCBS and my policy says 15 days my doctors office insurance staff says they usually get an answer within 2 weeks. I have my #6/6 appt. on 2/9 and then mine gets submitted. The PA today told me she thinks we can get it all done and everything I have to do so I can have my Surgery on 3/10. I pray my insurance come thru quickly and don't deny me.
