Family food versus mine?
In planning for the coming surgery & in reading the posts, I noticed that many of you have a specific menus for your day.
Do you plan that out in advance and stick to it, or just have healthy options available and post after the fact what you ate that day? Also, do you cook separate meals for yourselves and families or do you just eat a smaller portion of the family meal?
I plan what I'm going to eat at the beginning of the day and stick to it. I also have healthy "snack" options around if necessary. And I add those to my blog meal plan at the end of the day so I have an accurate record.
I cook the same food for everyone, I just eat me-sized portions. I will make rice, pasta, or bread when appropriate to a meal, but I don't eat those - I just make it for my partners.

I'm the cook for the family, and I do the same as the others. I have my meals planned out, and dinner is the same for all of us, with different sizes and sometimes options for me. Today is Taco Tuesday, so I'll have plenty of meat and cheese rolled up in a lettuce leaf. Tomorrow is Spaghetti and Meatballs, or as it is for me, Meatballs with vegetables. It's not too hard to adjust things for me, and a bonus is the rest of the family starts to eat healthier as I make better choices.

150 lost and maintaining!
I'm only 8 days post op, and am on pureed foods, so I'm definitely eating differently than my husband. That being said, once I've moved further along on my journey, and can eat more "regular" foods, I think that his eating habits will change a bit along with mine. However, what I plan on is not cooking two separate meals, but just having different options. Say we are having spaghetti...I'll make him noodles, and I'll make me some zoodles (zucchini noodles), and we'll both have the same sauce. If we want stir fry, I'll put the chicken and veggies I want in one small pan, and his in another...his can be doused in sauce if he wants, and mine can have little sauce, or none. And just cook him up rice. If he doesn't want what I'm cooking, he can make himself up something from the pantry. :)
I don't really plan my meals...I'm too disorganized and lazy, but I DO keep plenty of healthy foods and snacks on hand.
I am the cook in my family so they eat the way I do for the most part. I just eat smaller portions. ( MUCH smaller. I get queasy when I think about the portion sizes I was eating pre-wls. )
