Cook meat in crock pots. It stays  nice and moist.

I can't handle grilled chicken because it's too dry. This is my go to chicken right now: in a crockpot- 2-4 boneless skinless chicken thighs. (4 lasted all week with just me eating it. Going to do 2 next time). Place chicken in crockpot and just cover with fat free salsa. Before surgery I used medium pace, but now I use mild because spicy doesn't sit well yet. Also add 1/4 packet of taco seasoning or ranch seasoning. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. It will be really soft.  Pull apart with 2 forks.

I appreciate that ... Yeah me chicken are no longer in love with each other ... Seriously ... I'm trying out the crock pot today and see what happens... I don't know I'm kinda nervous but we're gonna give it a shot !

Hiya Crystal... not sure if you like dark meat chicken, but it stays much moister then breast meat.  Maybe you can try that.

I used to eat chicken breast because it is lower in fat but since surgery I have changed to thighs. The tiny bit of fat makes them much more moist.

If you still can't handle meat try a soft cooked fish or even egg. It's better than not getting anything in at all.
