Study on Stomaphyx procedure

For anyone considering self-pay for Stomaphyx (I have not heard of any insurance company covering it), there is a published study in the Journal of the American Medical Association that shows it to be almost useless.

I find it most interesting that the study was actually cut short because the findings up to the one year point showed no clinically significant weight loss compared to the control group.

So, save your money...

I just want to say that I love when links shared on here are to peer-reviewed journals.

Thanks Lora. It always helps to have scientific confirmation of what people were discovering in the real world.
