Today is my day

I have my surgery TODAY! I thought it would never come and yesterday was the longest day of my life. I go to the hospital at 11:15 and my surgery is scheduled for 1:15. I have been having doubts and second thoughts really bad but I think it is just cause I am genuinely hungry and thirsty right now. No food at all yesterday just broth and clear fast (which was white grape the flavor I hate the most in the world) But this morning I dont have those thoughts anymore I am ready to be on the other side of this journey finally. I got all my post op meds EXCEPT there was one that is supposed to help with gallstones. That was a super expensive script that I could not get. Even with Insurance it was going to cost me $197. Crazy thing is everyone I know that has had RNY ends up having the gallbladder removed within a couple years anyway. Why dont the just take it out at the same time? Anyways have a great day my OH family. You have all been a great help and inspiration on my journey. I will update when I get home.

Good luck on your surgery today! I had my gallbladder removed at the same time because of a history of gallstones and pain. Easier than going back in.
