Pain, 5 yrs post RNY

I posted about this a few days ago. This is the follow up, I can't find the original post.

I have been having pain after eating for 6 days. I saw the surgeon.there are a few things it could be. I'm getting a cat scan after the 1st when I have insurance.

It could be a internal hernia or a ulcer that is caused by a dysfunction of my pouch. I may have a scope too.

I'm on a liquid diet till this is resolved, I guess this is one way to loose this regained weight. Sigh.....

Has this happened to you?

Hoping everything gets straightened out for you quickly. After every meal or chronic pain is no joke. It affects every aspect of your life. So the doctors will do their best to get you fixed up fast we hope.

Yes, pain in my pouch has happened...to me....and recently.. treating mine as an ulcer has stopped the symptoms..I have a PCP *****commended me to use prevacid 30 mg. as part of a pain protocol for arthritis...I've not needed the other meds but took the prevacid., it has stopped my ssymptoms... it is an OTC. I need to get mine checked as well. I had a gastritis episode 2 weeks ago and trying to recover from that, before I go to the specialist- my surgeon retired 15 years ago. It could be any number of things you are wise to get it checked...ASAP. take care of yourself.
