Sitting on the Bed over 400 Pounds

Obesity is a painful disease.  I have been freed from super, super morbid obesity thanks to many dedicated people willing to help instead of hurt.  Tonight, I will pray for those sitting on their bed over 400 pounds hoping they find the peace WLS has given me.

I don't want to get into a political debate here (or poop where I eat, so to speak), but he really showed his ass with that comment. 

I agree.  I remain apolitical in online forums, but that comment was uncalled for and completely irrelevant to boot.  WTF???

No political debating belongs here because I think it would just devolve into a shouting match but that comment made me wince and instantly think of myself being 377 pounds watching the debate and crying. I've been thinking of everyone who watched them or who've now heard of the comment and how it's made them feel. I hope they can protect themselves from that kind of comment.
