12 Days Post-Op -- Unbelievable!
Hi everyone -- continue to be amazed every day by how good I'm feeling already at just 12 days post-op. I've lost 23 pounds, I'm off all diabetis meds and blood sugars are stable at 90-100, I'm off 4 other medications and my doctor told me yesterday that the lipitor will be gone soon (cholesterol was 135, she just wants to check it one more time), the swelling is down in my legs, my OAB is better than it has been in years, I already have more energy and stamina, my pulse rate is lower than it has been in years, I'm sleeping better and my attitude and outlook is so much more positive than it was. I honestly don't know why I didn't do this sooner. I can't wait to see where this new chapter in my life takes me. I never imagined that at 60 years old, I would be redefining who I am but that is what is happening. thanks for all the support, advice, and insight from so many here at OH. -- GRETCHEN
