First ever
Hi all? On Sunday I will "run" my first 5K. Yaaa. I still can not run the whole way, which is frustrating because i'm trying 5 days a week. But i'm trying not to be so hard on myself. I would never even attempted this at 230lbs. My journey with weight loss surgery has been overall amazing, but came with a few melt downs as well.
Thank you to all of you who post here either daily or randomly, you have all inspired me to become the best me ??

I bet you are so proud of yourself.
BTW, it doesn't matter if you run the whole way. It's DOING it that makes you successful.
Good luck this Sunday!

Honestly, come Race Day, you may really surprise yourself...There's just something about the sights/smells/spirit of the day/brother and sisterhood of the runners/people cheering, from the sidelines/etc/etc...
There is NO NO NO NO disgrace, in walking, though !!!!!
