I love this picture and you don't look fat at all! In fact I was thinking how happy and slim you looked!

Good morning,

Baby shower was good. I won one of the games, I took the bath stuff instead of the chocolate but they handed out Hershey chocolate nuggets so I had 5 of those and cake. Also did not have the potato soup last night.

Qotd I like to be left alone mostly. I will tell people that I am sick but really do not complain.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

S large French vanilla iced coffee

D maybe ham

Have a good day

off to the lab today for a day full of testing - the end to the 10-month research study I'm in!! I've been doing saliva samples 3x a day this week to turn in - plus today I'll have a blood test, several tests on the computer (reaction tests, etc), then I'll be stuck in an MRI machine for two hours getting some baseline reads of my brain and then taking some stressful mental tests to see how my brain reacts. Then tomorrow night will be the final sleep study, where in addition to the usual things, they'll wake me up several times to ask what I'm dreaming about. This is the third time I've been through this testing (before the study started, the mid point, and now at the end). Glad it's almost over - but I know by Tuesday I will be wiped. And then I'm heading to Vermont on Wednesday!

I'm so glad this eating-out weekend is over, too (other than having lunch at the hospital cafeteria today - but luckily, they have several healthy choices). I've gone over on calories every day, and the water retention is horrible. I'm down a pound since yesterday, but still up 4 lbs from my acceptable range. This will probably take 2 or 3 days to get out of my system. Ugh. Hopefully being on vacation won't be too much of a challenge (we're staying with relatives). I don't want this to be the beginning of an upward trend....

QOTD: I rarely get sick. I think I'm usually pretty stoic about it.

2 years 5 months out (and feeling like a water balloon...):

B: homemade Greek yogurt, 10 strawberries

S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax shake

L: something safe from the hospital cafeteria - maybe Greek yogurt & hummus with raw vegetables. Or a "protein pack" if they have them today

D: pulled pork

Good morning. i am up early with the time change. I made myself stay in bed until 5 am. Yesterday was a good day.

I went shopping yesterday. I bought a pair of jeans that were a 5/6. I have been buying a 7/8, but these have a little more stretch in them.I am in a size medium shirt. This whole journey has been overwhelming. The head hunger is still very real. I don't want sweets, its things like crackers that my head wants.

QOTD- I am very stoic when I am sick. I just power through it. I am thankful that I rarely get sick.

My food plan for today-

B- 3oz black forest ham, 1 egg, 1 oz light motz( I love this shredded cheese from Trader Joes, 45 calories, 0 carb and 5 protein)

L- leftover steak from last night

D- I am going to make the ricotta bake.

Lots of water and my vitamins

Have a great day everyone. I see my surgeon tomorrow for my 1 yr check up. I'm praying it goes well.

I love that cheese too, it's really tasty and melts beautifully. Most lite cheese melt like plastic and have no flavor!
