I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but thank you to everyone who still takes the time to answer.

I'm two weeks out from surgery and I realized that every time I eat/drink something I get lower abdominal discomfort. It's not pain per say, but definitely doesn't feel good, and sometimes it's a little more to the left. Is this normal??

I do not apologize for my existence no matter how uncomfortable it might make you.

My surgeon told me if I had abdominal pain to go in cuz it could be a fissure or other things, you may want to go get it checked out to be on the safe side

Ask as many questions as you need to; that's why we're here .

I'd call my center if I were you, and let them know you're experiencing discomfort after eating and drinking.

Make sure you're taking small bites and wait a bit before eating more to see if it helps.

I had pain after eating and in my case, it was due to inflammation. I had to go back on liquids for 2 extra weeks. But your situations sounds different because you're experiencing discomfort after drinking, too. The only time drinking bothered me is if I took more than one sip at a time.

Good luck.
