Does this sound concerning?

Hey all, hope your holiday season has been lovely.

So the past few days I've been very burp-y. I've also had very mild nausea and discomfort while drinking. Does this sound like the start of an ulcer? Nothing? Maybe something?

i would call up my surgeon but sadly he was let go due to my hospital going into debt.

EDIT:

ive been pondering if it could be anything else. I did realize that around the same time as this started I changed the type of iron I was taking. It does seem this could be the cause of the nausea. I'll keep tabs on it! Thanks all!

Sounds like you are just getting some air in your pouch. I have that problem (and I actually do better with a straw but you never heard that from me . Take smaller sips or maybe give your tummy a bit of a break. If the nausea gets to be too much, take some Zofran. If things continue, go to your PCP. He will be more able to determine what you need to do and refer you someplace if needed.

The nausea is pretty mild so I shouldn't need zofran hopefully.

It seems odd that at 7 months out I would be struggling with drinking too fast or with too much air again, but definitly a possibility. Thanks!

My problem with GB started that way. Nausea and burping. Later I started having pain. I had RNY in May, GB removal in October same year.

Hmm I was wondering if this might be it too. Dang, I'm hoping to be one that escapes a GB removal. Thanks!
