I'm just getting over that myself. Ugh - no fun. This has been a bad year for it. It seems like most of our staff at work has been out with either a bad cold or the flu this season. Take care of yourself!!!

Another miserably cold day today so it looks like more treadmill is in my future. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit warmer so hopefully Lily and I can get outside to walk in the afternoon. You know it's miserable when she goes out and hurries right back to the door. If it warms up this afternoon we may do a mile outside too. I'll do 5 miles somewhere total today. Accountability was okay but I endedup having 2 small pieces of pizza for supper instead of the plan. Post op 5 years 4 months andweight at 119.6 today. Not enough fluids yesterday so that's a goal for today. QOTD no not since I lost all myweight. Maybe I should start that again in the new year? Here's the food for today B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese and sm Halo D 31/2 oz cheesy link 1/2 c diced tomato S Quest brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone--I'm off to find some coffee!

A heated throw! That sounds wonderful right now (it is COLD here). I still ate more than I should have yesterday but my choices were better, so I'm glad about that.

QOTD: I journaled as a child, sometimes as a diary and sometimes I wrote stories. I thought I might want to be a writer... Then life happened and I became a young mother, then a full-time worker/part-time student until I received a masters degree, then 2 more children arrived. So I never returned to it.

1 year, 9 months post-op

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Halibut and veggies

S: Almonds

I think that sounds like a wonderful thing to pick up again in this new chapter of your life. I would certainly buy your book, whether it were fiction or autobiographical.

QOTD: Im a huge goal setter and work really well this way, especially in the losing phase. now that I'm in maintenance it is harder for me to transition to not focus on a number. I keep a plain notebook for this. I've gotten back into MFP for food tracking. I firmly believe now that there is a direct correlation between tracking and keeping weight low unless you are super vigilant without it and I am not.

Food was most excellent yesterday- yippie

I did try a new spin on my gelatin- sugar free gelatin with a bit of lukewarm water, then add PP to it, then the rest of the ho****er. I had done this many many times before with plain gelatin but the fruit flavored is yummy also!

Food for today:

tuna

egg white/sausage bite

fun gelatin

not sure what else- DH wants mexican tonight so if we go there I will prob have fajitas no tortilla or grill chicken.

Good Morning and happy Friday-eve. Yesterday was a hectic chaotic day at work (one of our busiest of the year) and I was having major computer issues so that didn't help. When I got home Em had bought me some bubble bath, shower gel, a chocolate scented teddy bear and a super sweet note all set up on the table (and she didn't even know how bad my day had been) which made me feel super loved.

QOTD: I haven't kept a journal in many years. I sort of typed up a dairy sort of thing when I was home on my maternity leave (so 13 years ago) but it didn't last when I got back to work.

Accountability: I added a pack of cashews and finished the other 1/2 of the Lavash bread I had with my dinner.

Time since surgery: 3 years 4 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, and mixed nuts

D: TJ turkey burger, cauliflower mashers topped with cheese and bacon bits

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with canned pumpkin and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1196 Protein:125 Carbs:70 Fat:50
