Blood tests fifteen month check-up, ect

i had my fifteen month blood test completed last week. I'll post results when available. I have been feeling tired of sorts and under a lot of work stress so I thought it would be a good idea to go back to taking Celebrate Vitamins. I like the chewable versions as large pills are difficult to swallow. I had been taking over the counter vitamins and I don't think I've been doing too well. Last tests showed I was low in copper. I was able to obtain a letter of medical necessity from the doctor so I could use my flex savings account to reimburse me for the vitamins, pre-tax.

Now, the issue is my weight. I thought after nearly fifteen months I'd taper off. I've been hovering at 122 the past couple of weeks. Appetite is still gone which is good. Following the program. My mom is concerned that I'm too thin. Still getting body shamed at work. Complaining to HR is like talking to a brick wall. That will end as I'm leaving my job of nearly 25 years for greener pastures this coming Friday.

I'm probably averaging 100g protein a day.

I'm adding new foods, which is good and weight is stable. I still have a Premier Protein shake and a Quest bar daily.

Are you retiring? Or leaving because of the weight comments.

Not retiring. There was a reorganization. I can't afford to retire, too young.

Everyone can benefit from training. I'm an HR Manager and often wonder what I'd do if someone came to me with this complaint. Truthfully there is not much HR can do. 98% of the time the other party will deny ever saying anything. Then it's a he said, she said. And we're left weighing the risk of doing nothing vs. doing a CYA training that could be very expensive.

No easy answers.

I am a little confused in one paragraph you say 'I thought I'd be tapering off' which sounds like you are still losing. Then you say you are stable.

Most people who actually reach goal look too thin. Totally common for 15 months. Even when your weight stays the same somehow things redistribute and you won't look too thin. Also in a couple of hours it may not be as easy to keep the weight off, better to stay low as long as you are healthy.

Sorry for the confusion. I think I'm stable. I don't know how long staying at 122# is considered stable? Two weeks or two months? Maybe I should shoot for 120#? I wear jeans that fit perfect at the hips, I think they are size 26 or 27. Miss Me and True Religion fitbthe best. I think I'm a size 4-6 in bottoms and Small in tops. I have a sweater from LLBean xs. Never in my life I could think I could be this small.

With regards to health, still waiting on blood test results.

I think stability is holding within a pound or two for a year! That's when you know whether you are really successful in maintenance.

I was able to hold to my lowest weight for about 9 months then I started gaining a few pounds even thought I didn't change my calorie count.

I've fought hard against significant gains but it is an actual fight now. I wish I had gone below my goal so that when maintaining got harder, I had a few extra pounds to play with. But that's me... no one can tell you what is best for you.

Great advice all. Will my appetite ever return? Maybe I should get as thin as I can without compromising my health just in case of unexpected weight gain.

I know I need to work on my muscles. I just want to be healthy and not have diabetes ever return.
