A little frustrated

I am about 1 month out from surgery. In total, I have lost 37lbs. However, I haven't lost anything in the past week, and today I gained a pound! How is that possible? I'm eating on plan, and I even do cardio at the gym 5 times a week. I have read about how it'a Normal to "stall", but it seems a little early in my journey for that to start happening. Anybody else deal with this? Help!

It's actually exactly when the first stall hits.

There is no way on earth you were going to continue the pace you were setting. It's bound to be a little slower now, because it was so fast at first . Stick rigidly to the plan. Weigh and log everything you eat, so that you know you haven't drifted. That way, you can ignore the scale, and work the plan.

Look at my ticker to see my monthly losses.

Grim is right. At my 3 weeks I stalled for 2 weeks! I was so paranoid surgery didn't work or I was doing something wrong. After 2 weeks the weight started falling off again

Yep, my first stall happened right around the same time.. 1 month out. And now I get a stall after every loss.. I'll go weeks stuck at same number then in a period of just 1 week I'll loose 10 lbs.. then my body goes into another stall. Sometimes it only lasts a week, when I'm unlucky it lasts 4 weeks. But.. the good news is.. I continue with the same downward path. I've officially lost 100 lbs now in total. I still have 80 lbs left to loose, but right now.. I see it as just 25 left to loose to reach my first major goal of being under 200 lbs. Don't loose faith, and keep up with what every one else suggested. If you see you gain a lb or two, don't freak out. Sometimes your body is just retaining water, so try to relax and stick to your plan :) You got this!!

37 lbs in a month should make you very happy.

My advice is to stay away from the scale.
