Happy Tuesday Protein Peeps! My 1st day of AMAW/CAMAW was awesome! I am so happy with how full I was on just protein. Awwww dense protein you are magical LOL

Accountability: 100% on track! I was so full I didn't eat lunch so I am eating it for breakfast today. And I did not eat my evening snack of yogurt as I was not hungry

QOTD: So its "Spring Forward" this weekend when we change our clocks to one hour ahead on Sunday March 11th at 2:00am. How do you feel about Daylight Savings Time? I detest DST. I wi**** was banned. Spring is not so bad because we go ahead an hour but the Fall when we lose an hour and lose light is just so depressing.

Time since surgery: 4 yrs + 3 mos

I am doing CAMAW

B: decaf all day with vanilla PP used as creamer and then 4.5 oz of chicken breast with bbq sauce

L: 5oz of grilled pork chops with bbq sauce

S: 4 slices of bacon with 2 baby bel cheese

D: 5oz of grilled chicken breast with bbq sauce

S: if I am hungry I will have a yogurt

TOTALS: 1053 calories, 178 protein, 12 carbs

V: patches are on + oral D3 & B12

E: 60 min step class tonight and then its arm workout night

Morning! I had a last minute emergency pop up at a school this morning, so my schedule is all messed up. I think I will be traveling upwards of 5 hours on trains today, which feels like such a waste of time.

Accountability: Nailed it! My first day of AMAW was a total success. I was lucky that it was also a small pouch day, so I kept forgetting to eat. But I ended the day at 758 calories, 73g of protein and 20 carbs. I also went to the gym and ran a few miles. Feeling good! I am going to try to stay off the scale all week, though. I usually weigh myself every day, but I think I might go crazy this week if I step on the sale and don't immediately see a 30lb loss. Hahaha, but no really.

QOTD: Meh, I don't really care. My body is pretty good about adjusting quickly, and I love the benefit of later evenings, but I also see the arguments against it.

Day one CAMAW was awesome! here we go day two! I should avoid the scale like JB said, but I probably won't...down 1lb today. I know most of what I will lose this week is water weight, since my carbs habeen too high lately, but I'll take it!

accountability: yesterday's stat: carbs 37, protein 126, calories 981

qotd: I'm not fussed, but I remember in my early 20s, getting that extra hour in the bar when the clocks rolled back was always a exciting hahahah

Morning! I'm glad your first day of (c)AMAW went well! It's been good for me too. Yay protein lol.

QOTD: I'm mixed. I hate losing sleep, but I also always enjoy little things that break up the usual pattern. I guess I'm into the novelty of it.

CAMAW Day 2:

1.Premier in coffee sipped all day

2. Oikos coffee yog

3. 2 oz roast and 1 slice of pepper jack cheese 1 string cheese

4. 1 egg 1 string cheese

5. Salmon!

V: bout to go take with my Premier. I just added magnesium and copper and zinc to my line up bc I have been gave v bad leg cramps every night for a few weeks. Still trying to figure out how to incorporate them in so they are all absorbed correctly

Good morning menu folks! I'm slowly getting back to my routine. I got up early and drove my wife to work. It is the longest that I have driven so far post-op and it went well. It helped to put a small pillow between me and the seatbelt for a bit more cushioning. Now I am at my desk and starting to telework for a few hours.

I have lunch planned today with friends. Not completely sure where we are going but probably either Greek or Peruvian chicken. It will be nice to be out and doing something with people.

QOTD: I really don't like time change because it takes weeks for the cats to readjust to the time.


Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey bacon, oatmeal

Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake, cantaloupe

Lunch: ?chicken breast, greens

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple, almonds

Dinner: roast beef, cauliflower

Exercise: 1-2 mile walk

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. My first day of AMAW went great, I did not eat my afternoon snack and felt so full. I am pleased and the timing was good as i had been stuck back at 201. I am going to follow JB theory as well regarding weighing and will do it on Friday morning. We are heading to Buffalo NY on Thursday after work, Ryley is visiting a college, we will go to a Sabres game and visit the falls.

Accountability - spot on.

QOTD - I do not like it, I hate the winter as we lose light .

B - 4 slices of bacon

S - 3 oz deli roast beef

L - 1 1/2 links of italian sausage

S - 90/10 burger

D - 4 oz of NY Strip with a1

Gym tonight. I go to PF and they have Pizza on the first Monday of the month, my Trainer was there last night and I had not seen her, she texted me to tell me not to breath in as they had just delivered Pizza....it did smell really good!

Hey, I go to PF too (when I go... sigh) and I hate the bagels and pizza, but mostly the pizza! It smells so good! LOL

I'm pulling the Italian sausage out tonight from the freezer... I'm so having some of that later this week once all the other meat I've cooked is gone. Yum.
