If we were placing bets on who or who wasn't going to reach their goals in here I'd be "all-in" on you reaching your goal. You sound super focused and it's pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, Scott! To be honest, I'm still coasting downhill in the honeymoon stage, but I know that sooner or later things will require much more discipline and resolve! This site, and all of you, have helped me so much to understand what it takes - and what it will take, in the future.

That's wonderful congratulations. My doctor told me that the only thing I should stay away from are drinks with bubbles

Thanks! I forgot to mention bubbly liquids! Dr. Billy also told me to avoid all carbonated drinks. And he mentioned not to use a straw, another rule I have not followed altogether.

I found that initially straws made me drink too much too fast. Now I have no problems. A lot of people are able to drink carbonated beverages but they still make me slightly nauseated. Different tummys accept different things.

Straws are ok with me and I like drinking through them, except it's hard to find paper ones, and the plastic ones plus those skinny little plastic coffee stirs are so bad for wildlife, etc.

Carbonation in general I still avoid.

Thanks Pamela! But to be honest at just 12 months out, I'm still a newbie in many ways too!
