Like your picture! My beloved Shih Tzu was named Sohpie. She passed May 2017 and was 16 1/2 years old.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Shih tzu. 16 1/2 years old is a good long life.

Sophie is a rescue dog we are getting from the shelter. They think she is part chihuahua and part dachshund but don't know for sure. She is a real cutie! (In my opinion). This picture is of my daughter holding Sophie at the shelter.

Aaaaawwww.....Sophie is a cutie. I have a 1 1/2 year old Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix. He is 8 lbs. of cuteness.

My BFF's daughter got him then didn't want to be bothered with taking care of him so when I lost Sophie, I was given Bernie.

So sorry to hear about your water main! I hope it gets resolved inexpensively.

Good Morning!

A little frustrated this AM. I am driving my sister and husband to JFK later... hoping that goes well. I wasn't sure if I was going to sleep over my brother's last night rather than the extra driving with the airport today. I showed my nephew how to turn off the pool filter yesterday in case I didn't come home. Anyway he turned it off last night and this morning it doesn't work. The same thing happened when I showed him how to use the washing machine last fall. Mysteriously it broke and I didn't have a washing machine for a month waiting for a part to come in. Sigh... while he has emotional disabilities he is far from stupid. Part of me feels guilty for being angry.

While my weight is the same been having too much summer fun and with my birthday approaching I don't expect it to stop.

QOTD: I have a sunroom/sitting room/dining room... to my left is a side table with a pothos plant amazingly I have not killed. African violets do extremely well in this room... they get huge and even multiply.

Funny you say that. I bought a few succulent "gardens" for my bathroom and in one of them one of plants is dying. How is that possible!?!?!?

it's possible - because it would die for me, too!
