Very disappointing but I was very concerned about DW trying to navigate new space.

Janet, you are amazing, getting in a 5k run during your lunch break! I'm sorry that your Santa Barbara trip was cancelled. I hope your DW responds well to her treatment, and that things will improve.

Thanks! I am really disappointed but she just wouldn't have been able to handle that many new things right now. She wanders off and gets so confused.

Is DW depressed? That is common with cognitive issues and exacerbates things if untreated. DH has been on Lexapro for 18 months and we are seeing a geriatric psychiatrist about something more. When it is the right drug/dose it makes a big difference. Some women in our support group have gotten prescriptions for THC/CBT for their spouses for the same purpose but right now I'd rather stay more traditional.
