My talk at the Bariatric Support group went well, Had positive feedback. Someone videotaped but I won't look. Ack!

QOTD: If you eat something out of your normal routine do you make a conscious choice and just enjoy it? This week in NYC I ordered coq au vin at a French cafe. I tasted the potatoes but my choice to have was the homemade French bread. At 4 years out I am OK with that. When I was in weight loss phase I wouldn't have made that choice probably. To me making a conscious choice is better than eating it and feeling guilty

B: Fairlife latte overnight oats

L: tuna on lite English muffin, Brussel sprouts

D: grilled chicken fajitas

S: protein, yogurt

ex: rest day

good morning all. Happy Friday. We have a quiet weekend planned. Gym,Costco, a few other errands. But will be happy to sleep later and not have to get dressed and commute into the city. I am flying to Seattle on Sunday afternoon so that will cut the weekend a little short. After Seattle,I am down to three trips and five doctor's appointments for the rest of 2018.

QOTD: This hasn't come up much yet, but I think I will try and make the conscious choice and just try and make the rest of the day work macro wise. For now trying to stay on plan and get to goal. (although I don't really know what goal is)

Breakfast: Ham and Swiss

Snack: Light and Fit

Lunch: Chicken

Good morning all. I'm home sick today, I've had some sinus cold stuff kind of building up over the last few days and this morning woke up to a pounding sinus headache and I may be running a fever. We don't have a thermometer to check. So bed, hot tea, and rest for me today

qotd: since I'm still in weight loss phase I avoid most carbs and sweets with the exception for an occasional fruit or starchy veg (carrot or a bit of potato in soup or stew). I do occasionally make a choice to have something seasonally if I know it's not a recurring thing. For example, I did eat a s'more last weekend at our campfire picnic. I ate it, was satisfied (honestly I didn't even want to fini**** so I shared it with DH) and that was that.

Menu: besides hot tea and maybe a protein shake, everything is up in the air. I haven't had much of an appetite with my sinuses all clogged up, didn't eat most of my menu yesterday.
