It may or may not be - IT. But unless you are making choices you aren't happy with just stay the course. For me things did change around the one year mark and I started to panic. I only lost a couple of pounds over several months and then things kicked in again.

Thanks Cynthia. I am going to keep the course. I have made a few choices that I am not happy with but mostly I am just sticking to the program. Hopefully, it will pick back up again.

i had to drop to like 800 cal to lose the last bit. then i gained it back in maintenance- so it depends on what you want. I wanted to go under the goal weight to account for rebound.

Wow! 800 calories... well, if that what it takes. I want to leave room for a bounce back because I am sure it will happen but I want to keep it under control.

yeah looking back now- it is very hard for me to eat 800 now- i need waaay more calories or it seems now.

it is very hard to lose for me... I was more confident when i was super thin

I don't know if I could do 800 calories either. At one time 800 was my goal for the day but now I am much more active and I feel like 800 would hinder me. I don't know really until I try, I guess. I feel super thin now but my head and heart want to be 149 so I can have a normal BMI. Although part of me is fine right where I am. I need to figure this out. Thanks for your help!

Just curious, how much do you drink a day? As I lost more weight, I had to increase my fluid intake to keep losing. The bad news is that I have to go to the bathroom all the time, but it is helping to keep me healthy and well hydrated.

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.

That is something I could definitely do better with. I currently get between 70-90 ounces a day. I know that is not a lot compared to others. I will try to increase to 100 this week and see if that helps. Thanks for your advice!

At a little past 16.5 months out, I lost nothing (well, I lost, and gained, and lost, hovering in the high 140s, even spiking back up to 150) for weeks! I too wondered if I had reached the end of being able to lose, if my body had just decided that that was where it wanted to stay. But I stayed on track, measuring, weighing, recording, walking, and being conscientious. And finally the reward: over the past week or so I have dropped 9 pounds! I think we reach points where our bodies need to regroup, settle, and think about things, but if we stay focused and steady we can and will see movement. It may just take a bit! If you aren't where you want to be yet weight-wise, keep at it and your patience will pay off.
