morning everyone!

I am fine with the election outcome. I already pretty much knew who was going to win so it's no surprise. obviously I'd have to deal with whichever candidates won regardless so I don't exactly allow myself to get too excited about politics anyway. maybe it's naive but I've never been that involved...I have too many other things to create anxiety in my life!

QOTD: I've always been the person in charge of bills and money management too...I really wish I could give it to someone else but I am a control freak and I do not trust my DH to do it so I guess I am happy enough being in control. I just hate the stress.
I am seriously considering hiring a cleaning service to come in and deep clean my bathrooms and kitchen at least once a month though...I've heard it isn't really that expensive and it's probably totally worth it.

B: coffee w/sf pumpkin spice creamer, leftover cheesy chicken& mixed veg casserole
L: more reuben slaw! (good thing this stuff is so tasty! LOL)
S: L&F greek yogurt/ 2 turkey meat sticks
D: leftovers- we have a ton and need to get rid of them!

We have a monthly deep clean as well and it's LIFE-CHANGING. We initially found someone on Thumbtack (the app and website) at our old house...at our current house we used care.com but you have to pay to get their contact info except one woman had snuck her email into her profile. She charges $25/hour and she comes for maybe four hours, once a month. I would gladly give up pretty much anything in my life to pay her $100 and have the bathrooms and kitchen deep cleaned, plus general house straightening/dusting. I love love love her. I have also promoted her in my neighborhood on our Next Door app so she has more jobs around here. When she isn't cleaning, she does catering. So as much as cleaning isn't fun, hopefully she earns more than at her catering job. Anyway, I hope you find someone!

I have a cleaning crew comes in every two weeks. Best money I have ever spent. I would give up food before I would give up my housekeepers, and that is saying a lot.

When I was working I had a housekeeper come clean every two weeks. Best money ever spent! Now I consider it exercise though I sure don't enjoy it.

Good morning! This week is definitely dragging on. I am off work today. It is supposed to be dry today. I am contemplating hanging up the Christmas light on the outside of the house.

I have been thinking a lot lately about my surgery. I will be 2 years out on the 22nd of November. I have not lost any weight to speak of this past year. I literally lose and gain the same 5 pounds. I have actually gained 12 pounds from my lowest. I am 30 pounds from goal. I have an appt to see my surgeon for bloodwork Dec 12th. I feel like I am dreading it. What if she thinks I am a failure??

This surgery is mentally hard. I still struggle every day. I think I am struggling with myself the most. At what point do I decide that where I am at is okay?? I didn't have this surgery to still be overweight. So obviously what I am doing is not working. Those little bites do add up. I can't give up!

So, food plan for today-

2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

chomps

albacore tuna with 2 TBSP SG poppyseed dressing

Taco meat with salsa

The goal for today, no extra bites of anything off plan!!! Log and measure every bite. There are tortilla chips on the counter. They are going to go in the garbage!

Lots of water and hot tea today, vitamins always

Elliptical for 20 minutes and a walk with Josie today.

*I will be kind to myself today! I will look in the mirror and remind myself of how far I have come.

I've struggled with this too - we've been at this for a long time now! Back and forth, up and down, over and over the same pounds for the last year. Hang in there and whatever you decide don't forget how far you've come!!

Good morning~It's already Wednesday, this week is going by fast and isn't slowing. I have a 3 day weekend ahead and I'm thrilled! Very pleased about the voter turn out but that is all I will say about the election. I have pretty strong opinions but will keep them to my self!

Oh! The honeybee boxes that I used to see on the beautiful part of my commute that disappeared a months ago, are back!! I saw trucks unloading them this morning in one area and another area had them set up as well!! I am hopeful the landscape will be thoroughly dotted once again. This made me so happy!

QOTD - Cleaning, BOOM. I LOVE a clean house, but seriously dislike cleaning. I love cooking, managing money and paying bills, haha. I even like working though if I had plenty of money I'm sure I could find something else to do!

Accountability - great - switched out my dinner because I accidentally got the southwestern flavor of eggbeaters and ewww I did not like them at all.

23+mo out - 151.2!
