Toronto western surgeon appointment

I've finish all my appointment and I'm meeting my surgeon end of this month what should I expect and when do I get my surgery date

I had my surgery on December 7, 2018 in Toronto at Humber River Hospital. For me, first I had to do an orientation class. Then I met my surgeon for the first time. Then I did the trio appointments (surgical nurse, registered dietician, and social worker). Once I passed all of those, I had an appointment with the internist (the medical director of the surgical program). He sometimes makes people see him more than once (if you need a sleep study done of whatever), but in my case I only had one appointment with him. Once he cleared me for surgery, I was set up with another appointment with my surgeon and it was at this appointment where I got my surgery date and where I purchased Optifast.

When was your final appointment with the surgeon where he gave you a surgery date... like how far apart weeks or months after u seen him you got surgery I've heard people say they seen him and with in like 4 weeks they had surgery and I've heard people say that had to wait a next 5 months

I saw the surgeon October 25, 2018 and got my surgery date, and my surgery was for December 7, 2018. So they were 6 weeks apart.

I met with my Surgeon Dec 16th 2018 and I had Surgery Jan 14th 2019

I had my surgeon appointment today and got my surgery date in May

What did they ask you at your trio appointments?

My surgery date was scheduled on the 2nd appointment with surgeon (the one after the internist). This appointment and my surgery date were about 4.5 weeks apart.
