Hello all! Today is officially the start of "soft foods"! So it's been pretty awesome so far.

Qotd: I am completely new to measuring but am doing it as much as possible.

B: pinto beans I made in the instant Pot

S: Vanilla PP

D: Slice of toasted whole grain bread with a little bit of avocado and 2 oz smoked salmon on it. It was something I've been looking forward to for a month now and it was pretty darn amazing!

Random thoughts: thanks everyone for the recommendation on Ever Roast chicken!

Also, EmiePie, your meals all sound super thought out and amazing, that is going to be my new goal. Do you spend time meal prepping early in the week or just spend extra time each day getting it all ready? Either way, it's awesome and nice work!

Hi Pete! We are glad to have you here and posting! I prep most of my stuff on Sunday for the week (I even portion out the eggbeaters into individual containers and freeze about 1/2 and pull them out as needed). The only thing I really mix nightly for the next day is my tuna (I mix it salt/pepper and mustard). Best of luck on your journey-hang around here and you'll get so much info and support.

Why thank you very much! Two weeks on soft foods and then it's basically unrestricted (using common sense)

Hi everyone,

Super late post again! Big surprise right? LOL! Another long day at work. I was called in at 5am and just got home.

Today is my first day of eating any real food in 1 1/2 weeks due to the stupid stomach bug. It wasn't a lot but still better than just broth and crackers. I'm not so sure I was ready to start eating just eat yet. My stomach felt fine but now it's doing the big gurgle gurgle again. Ugh!

QOTD: I weigh and measure everything when possible. I'm usually pretty close in the portion size before I put it on the scale.

B: 3oz turkey breast

D: 3.5oz chicken breast with 1/3C steamed spinach

Cals:201, Carbs:2, Protein:37

Enjoy the rest of your night everybody!
