Awww, thank you Sheila! Oh, those are so amazing! My great aunt used to always have them and I would always sneak another one when she wasn't looking!

Yes, better! I didn't realize how much emotionally similar stuff would still be there after weight loss.

I like how you phrased that -- "respecting my body" -- that's a great way to look at doing the things we need to do for ourselves! Glad your week is getting on track and hope you don't mind me stealing that phrase and mindset for my journal/planner!

Oh Amy,

We assumed that the only reason for our body image issues was that we needed to lose weight. Now that our bodies are different, it can still be hard to love and accept our bodies just as they are warts (saggy skin) and all! I have been going through some of the same things and talked to my therapist about it alot at our last session.

I know that exercise and generally moving my body more does and has helped me to be more in touch with my body, but it doesn't magically change how we feel emotionally. Hang in there and be good to yourself! And remember that so many of us love you just as you are because you are such a beautiful and kind person!

Morning everyone, It's a post and run day for me--I only have about 5 minutes, so I don't know if I will have time to come back and read everything later, it's been brutal at work...so much going on and the internet and websites I utilize for my job are running SO SLOW! It's driving me crazy!

QOTD: We are going to Arizona to visit my parents in their "snow bird" home the first week in march and I am pretty excited. it's the first time we have actually gone on a REAL vacation for more than just a long weekend...the last time we planned a vacation we went to Seattle to visit my SIL right after she had her son (only 2 weeks old) and he ended up super sick and in the hospital the whole time so we really didn't get to experience the vacation much, being in the hospital with a sick newborn the majority of the trip...and that was 9 years ago!

B: coffee w/1/2 PP (as creamer), 1/2 slice keto protein banana bread w/butter
L: cheesy chicken & broccoli
S: greek L&F &/or light string cheese
D: bacon wrapped chicken fillets & green bean medley

have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon,

Sorry for being a stranger here, just been busy and not enough time in the morning before I go to work. Guess sleeping in is winning but I really need to get back on track. I gained ten pounds last month.

Hope everyone is doing good. I'll come back tonight and finish reading the comments.

Qotd My friend and I are planning a trip to South Carolina at the end of July for her bday and visit friends and family.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D meatloaf and some kind of vegetable

Have a good day
