Good morning everyone! Happy happy Friday!! I'm meeting some friends tonight to see the Apollo 11 documentary, tomorrow I have Pilates and a class at the art museum and Sunday I have NOTHING planned! I kind of can't wait for Sunday, lol.

My photos are of some of the pretty dresses from the Dior exhibit last weekend! The French Revolution/guillotine dress is not pretty but the idea that someone would make it baffles me. Also, I have decided I need to get married so I can wear both the hooded dress and the one with the beautiful purple gems at my wedding.

They have a Dior Exhibition running at the Denver Art Museum. It was amazing! that black skirt/white jacket was from the very first collection...and I would wear it today. I think I finally understand "timeless" pieces now. I took so many pictures.

Jen, I felt the same way about the black and white outfit. Have you watched "Man in high castle"? The story is after WWII. The main heroine's clothes are to die for and I would wear them today...talk about timeless.

Yes! I think I watched the second season entirely for the outfits!

That was from 1952 but you could wear it today; amazing!

1952 was only a few years removed from the horror World War 2, and only a year after the end of the Marshall Plan. Amazing to create such lasting beauty from such a hard period in history.
