I'm really glad you are - we need all the help we can get! I hope I am able to find someone good. I've had trouble finding the right fit in the past.

Would love some therapy but I live an hours drive from anyone and work full time. I'm retiring at the end of June and am seriously thinking, maybe then.

I have been MIA because I was in NYC last week for a training. It was glorious. 5 nights in a hotel by myself, walking the streets, dinner dates with friends and family... glorious.

back to normal this week, this is a new season of organizing my life in a different way, so hard to get on here... Almost back to normal, back into NYC tomorrow...I am so excited... an Internet bunny trail... I am going to a Book Luncheon for an author that just published her book like 2 weeks ago, For free at a private members only club in NYC...met her through IG...started following her just on Sunday. Excited! I need to go buy the book today. It is called Do Less by kate Northrup. Weeeee.....

Eats:

  • Protein coffee
  • frittata
  • overnight oats w/greek yogurt
  • grilled chicken parm
  • S: Pumpkin protein muffins, fruit, protein

Ex: Gym day, trainer is determined to kill me. Core work including 70 modified burpees. I said I wanted to get better at my burpees. He took the challenge. #keepyourmouthshut

Good morning everyone. Another rainy day in the PNW. I am hoping we get a break so I can get out for a walk.

QOTD- Yes!! I actually see someone now, but she isn't what I need. I have been looking for someone and just emailed the nut at my WLS center to see if she had any suggestions. I am just feeling out of sorts in all areas and a bit lost. My kids are grown. My daughter is married and just graduated from nursing school. My son is in college. I am trying to find my way. I want to eat. I have this constant fear in the back of my mind that I am going to screw up this surgery. I feel like every day I am white knuckling it.

Food for today-

2 black coffee

2 eggs scrambled with 3 oz ham, 1 oz light motz

1 can tuna, pickles, onion, SG poppyseed dressing

Just 2 yogurt with 3 frozen strawberries

shredded chicken, romaine and salsa

Goal for today- To be kind to myself, nourish my body with good food!

morning everyone...

It was good until the zipper on my pants just literally cracked in half when I was in the bathroom and now the entire side of my pants is being held together by safety pins...thankfully I had some in my purse and a long sweater in my locker so I could cover it, but I am so mad. I love these pants and this is the first time I am even getting to wear them. I hope this is an easy fix at a tailor.

QOTD: I am not in therapy but I have considered it. I sometimes go to the group therapy sessions/support group meetings run by the psych at my bariatric center but that's about it since my surgery. I have seen a couple therapists before over the years but I never found one I felt was a great match. I feel like I am doing OK right now, but in the future I may reconsider.

Morning: coffee w/ 1/4 Caramel PP as creamer
B: 1/2 C cottage cheese w/1 kiwi and 1/4 C raspberries
L: turkey italian sausage w/kale & sweet potatoes
AS: dannon L&F greek yogurt
D: leftovers of something--not sure yet
ES: pretzels & PB

Hopefully the zipper incident is the worst thing that will happen today! LOL
