My smoothies always end up so foamy and as much as I love them, the bubbly part is annoying. So, someone on YouTube set me straight this weekend. Blend your smoothie without the protein powder. (I'm assuming ice and such) Once blended, add the protein powder and whiz enough to blend protein powder in, shouldn't take more than a few seconds. In addition, I added a tsp of coconut oil and that also helps. I used to do it when I made soup in my vitamix but wasn't sure if that would work for something cold. It did. When I had my smoothie this morning, no bubbly stuff left. Yay!!!! Any oil will work and I intend to get some avocado oil which is also my favorite oil to cook with. I generally cook with very little oil so that is definitely a way to get some healthy fats in me!!!
